We’re calling on the government to provide parenting support to all parents ─ from pregnancy until their children start school.
Services such as baby and toddler groups, parenting programmes, and parenting advice are essential for supporting child development, improving parent and child wellbeing, and identifying any challenges facing families early.
However, too many parents can't get this help - 82% of parents struggled or failed to access essential early years support. Our research shows that children who don’t have access to these services are less prepared to start school which can have a lasting damage on their education.
With the government currently planning its roll out of family hubs, we have the chance to make sure this support is available to all families.
Add your name to our call to the government, asking for:
- High-quality parenting support services available to every family
- Long-term funding for these services
- A national offer of digital parenting support
